Cicily Simms - Attorney

Cicily was born in Davenport, Iowa and grew up in Austin, TX. She is a graduate of Tulane University and received her J.D. from the University of Texas, where she was an adjunct professor of law before turning to the full-time practice of family law in the Austin area. Specializing in Family Law, Cicily Simms has been Board Certified as a Family Law Specialist by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization since 1977.

Cicily has been the President of the Austin Women Lawyer's Association and of the Austin Family Mediation Association. She is listed in the Martindale-Hubbell Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers and has an AV Rating. The AV Rating is a testament to the fact that a lawyer's peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence. Cicily is a Member of the State Bar of Texas, a Member of the Family Law Section of the State Bar of Texas, a Member of the Texas Academy of Family Law Specialists, & a Member of the Austin Bar Association – Family Law Division.
